This means that only <2/10 times (15%) reconstituted solution was within reduced osmolarity range. Laboratory testing of Kenvue WHO ORS Ready-To-Drink formulation showed that osmolarity was 100% within WHO Reduced osmolarity range. 15% correct osmolarity with powder and 100% with RTD WHO ORS 100/15= Nearly 7). Hence, WHO ORS RTD is 7 times more likely to be within WHO Reduced osmolarity range as compared to powder form of WHO ORS. When WHO reduced osmolarity ORS was used it showed better outcomes in terms of unscheduled IV fluids, vomiting, stool output etc.
